Pick these up today from a pawnshop what you guys think? Real? Fake? They’re weighing in at 3.1Not sure why anybody would go out of their way to fake these but just checking

They are almost certainly real, for the simple reason that it would not be worth anyone's effort and expense to fake them (unless the ones showing reverses have something exciting on the obverses, such as 1909-S or 1914-D). Hope you didn't pay more than about 2-3c apiece.

I think I see 2 1944's and a 42 in the group.  The 44's would be brass the 42 and the rest would be bronze, and chances are better than 99.9999999% that they are genuine.
