I like the moment..

I like the moment waiting for the package to arrive after I win a coin.

I anxiously check the mail box everyday and get excited when I find a package I've been waiting for.

Now I had been waiting for a coin I won one month ago. I like waiting but I thought it's enough so I sent the seller an e-mail the other day. He got back to me yesterday saying he hasn't shipped the package yet....ok, ok, I like waiting wink.gif

I like that anticipation as well. But finding that a seller did not ship a coin I'd purchased a month ago... 893naughty-thumb.gif

By any chance is his eBay name Keldos ?

No. Is he "famous"?

No, but he does take a very long time to ship purchases.

I am in the process of buying several coins from a collector. The problem is I have to go through an intermediary. So the process goes like this.

1. I send check to intermediary. Takes 4 days.

2. Intermediary cashes check and waits to clear. 7 days.

3. Intermediary sends his check to collector. 4 days.

4. Collectors sends coins upon arrival of check to intermediary, registered mail. 6 days.

5. Intermediary send coins to me via registered mail. 6 days.

In short, it takes about 4 weeks for me to get the coins. CRAZY.

Mark, I wouldn't expect you to be aware of this way out in the wilderness, but "fencing" involves the use of those pointy, little sticks that have a blunt tip. DOUBLE 27_laughing.gif27_laughing.gif

I will have to admit that the scenario described by Toyo does sound a little strange. DOUBLE 893scratchchin-thumb.gif893scratchchin-thumb.gif

PS. Thanks for the PM.

I like the moment waiting for the package to arrive after I win a coin.

I anxiously check the mail box everyday and get excited when I find a package I've been waiting for.

27_laughing.gif I sometimes feel the same way about waiting for grades. If it's grades I really want to see I'll anxiously check the online status several times a day.

I just wish I knew how NGC knew which invoice to grade last. Without fail, if I send in multiple invoices of the same type, the invoice that will grade last is the one I most want to see the grades. Christo_pull_hair.gif
