I KNOW ITS A LOT OF CORROSION BUT ITS A LOT OF COINCIDENCE THAT A "HOLE"  FOR A ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT BE WHERE COULD BE A "D", BECAUSE I SEEN A LOT OF PENNY FROM DENVER WITH THE MINT MARK IN DIFFERENT SPOT FROM THE SAME YEAR SO NOT ALWAYS BE IN THE SAME PLACE. ALSO A VERY THIN D, MY  QUESTION  SHOULD I SENT IT TO A THIRD PARTY TO CHECK? I WILL APPRECIATED YOUR OPINION. THANKS "ALSO JUST ONE HOLE ON THE COIN "

I have to be honest with you......I really don't see it now.  I'm certain that it's corrosion, and I definitely wouldn't spend money on having it graded.  I stand by my original diagnosis......1982 Philadelphia Small Date with corrosion and damage.
