As a collector, I have lurked both sides of the street for a couple of years. Oddly, I feel that I already know many of you, I know, it's a sickness. I've probably learned more than I ever cared to learn about some stuff and some of it has even been about coins; mostly over there, more recently here. However, I've been in the "club" here for a couple of years now. I just renewed the membership again and thought now might be a good time to join in the forums and, hopefully, be a somewhat decent contributor, or, at least, good fodder for the fire and brimstone. Certainly seems to be cooler here, but, hey, I love to play with fire. Of course, I'm such a nice guy there will be no need to torch me up, unless you're bored, then blast away, I don't care.

 

I joined "over there" last week and I'm still waiting for the magic password to play, I guess they must have put a stamp on that email and I'll have to keep checking the mailbox. They have no record of me, except that "glassman" is no longer an available choice, I knew I would be popular.. I guess glassman will live forever in the dungeons of their server, that should be fun.

 

I'm sure I'll be happier playing here, just as soon/if I can figure out how to post. Got to go, tonight's the night I usually boil the coin collection....glassman

I bet those holders boil right off the coins, especially @ 2200 deg. F! It might also be interesting to boil some albums of coins, but that's my favorite method of collecting!

I to will be spending more time over here. Over on the other side one of my somewhat off topic posts was moved to a general area. When i asked why just my off topic post and no one elses the admin in a PM told me that it is her or his call.

So no consistency with rules is the order of the day over there.
