i love the civil war era coins just good coins scarce and highly collectible as a mini set and also as type coins with much history and many proof and circ even mintstate circ coins are within reason as type coins even if you can only get one of two

 

the gold coins especially so as specie payments where suspended and some civil war era gold coins are available and are reasonably priced for what they are and others total ultimate rarities

 

i think for me the ultimate would be a killer gem proof deeply cameoed 20 dollar proof civil war gold coin

 

it is fun to dream!!

All Civil War issues are pretty scarce, even the Seated silver issues. The 1862-65 Seated issues are pretty difficult in grades over MS63.
