casman
Having fun on a Saturday and going through approx 300 or so old coins. First one so far couldn't help notice this. I expect it's a die clash but outside the varieties not sure if this is common or not? Thanks for any opinions.

physics-fan3.14
Cool clash. Clashes add a bit of flair to a coin, but they are extremely common on dimes. Unless it is an unusually full and strong clash, or someone has publicized it heavily, a clash is not worth a premium. An example of a heavily promoted clash would be the Franklin "Bugs Bunny" variety - really a minor clash, but it has been publicized and so people want it.
