...but is a Canadian Nickel from 1927 worth more than 5 cents? confused-smiley-013.gif

Sure. Maybe a buck or two. A scan of the other side would be better for grading.

Around a dollar Canadian. Here's a site with some basic grading points and retail pricing for Canadian coins.

Thanks. I just came across my childhood coin collection the other day, and thought I'd learn a little more about them.

As you know, the value of a childhood coin collection isn't measured in $$. I had a great collection. Every time I looked at it I remembered things from childhood. Even my little hand-written notes were in there. Then, one day, I sold most of it.

That would be cool. I don't have any from when I was a kid. I'm not sure what even happened to them.

It would be a great book. There's the sinister Gmarguli, a Russian spy, tense negotiations at the dining room table, getaway cars,...

I know. Just like to make sure there aren't any that I should take extra care with.

I haven't had a chance to go through them yet...but just opening the box brought me back. I was probably around 6 or so when I collected them. cloud9.gif
