Boy did I find a super nice eBay seller! NOT!

Here is the e-mail I sent and the response I received. I was interested in a coin the seller had but the photos were very far away and fuzzy!

Dear banknote1,

You asked:

"Hi; I wish your photos weren't so fuzzy. I can't tell anything from them. BankNote1@Hotmail.com..."

Thank you,

Well I guess asking about a "clear" photo is a crime on eBay? I guess I will go "take my flying leap" and add eBay seller "Starman409" to the "avoid" list!

So whatever you do. Do not ask the "STARMAN409" about his photos no matter how bad they are! I just wonder what this seller is trying to hide in the pix??? 893whatthe.gif

I think he told you to do the right thing. 893whatthe.gif The vast majority of nickels I've purchased in ICG holders have been 2 points overgraded. A 64 could be a real risky coin to buy, and the variability of strike in the '29-S is something only to be appreciated in-hand. Consider yourself lucky. makepoint.gif

On the other hand, the guy must have been reading the CU boards too much and got his nuts in a twist over any form of rational conversation.

I noticed all of his pics are distant and fuzzy regardless of TPG.

His NGC and PCGS pics are just as fuzzy as his ICGs.

If he's going to have multiple auctions with high BINs, he should at least try harder at taking better pics. With those lousy photos and high BINs, this guy is just wasting money in eBay fees.

Hoot, so refreshing to hear from someone that knows his series!
