If I'm sending a medal in for conservation how much attribution do I need?

1 post in this topic

I have several medals with varying degrees of spots, crud and gunk (to use the technical terms). One is aluminum, a couple iron and most are bronze or silver. Oh, and white metal. I'm okay with a slabbing afterwards, but some have been hard for me to attribute, so likely won't be eligible.

I would like to send them in for conserving even if I have no clue as to the origin. Is this okay if I give a description?

Pictures added for interest (just a few of the ones I'm looking at sending in...)
