Phantom 8

Has to be a coin that COULD exist (Don't get crazy here) but none are known. At all. The 1849 $20 piece would not count because it is simply not known to exist in PRIVATE hands.

9) 1916 SLQ Proof.

10) 1974 Steel-Clad Cent (Supposedly more than 1 in private hands but never seen by a TPG)

11) 1975 Aluminum (Far less known but they were struck but unsure if any survived)

12) 1837-o Half Dime (Supposedly 2 were struck and saved by a higher up in the New Orleans Mint but have been "lost" since late 1800s)

13) 1869-CC Dollar, Half Dollar, etc. (It is known that the dies 1869 WERE delivered to the Mint late 1869 but none where officially struck but it is very likely some were. It is a long held belief the Mint Superintendent held on to 1 or more and they will emerge one day. A 1869-CC Dollar would probably be a $20 million+ coin if it one emerged).
