Opinions needed on this NGC 1898 S MS-64 Morgan

Lacking luster with better than 64 details.

For the first fraction of a second after I opened the obverse pic, I thought it was whizzed. But it looks to have decent luster, a nice strike, and very few marks...just a few light scuffs, it would appear. It looks pretty nice. I'm surprised it's only graded 64.

Nice clean surfaces but the strike looks a touch soft in the hair curls to me looks like it's a borderline 64/65 to me.

It's a very solid coin for the grade, judging by the images.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. The coin just seemed too clean to me and had me wondering why it wasn't a 65. Here's another one that has more luster.

Nice looking coin also. I do like a little color on coins, though. Untoned blast white just isn't my thing...

I like the toned Morgans also, just don't own any. I even have a thing for grey circulated Morgans.
