2005 Bison and Western Waters Jeffersons

8 posts in this topic

As I was doing my search of Teletrades future auctions, I was somewhat surprised to find that there are already PR70DCams of these new nickels! In fact, there are 14 Bisons at PR70DC and 12 of the WW in same grade. Is the mint putting out better coins now or are people just getting luckier? And anyone care to guess what they'll go for? My guess is between $150 and $200.

Here is the Bison and next, the Western Waters.

Much better looking in proof than they appear in business strikes. Anyhow, I find that also hard to believe, but yes, I think the Mint is putting out some high grade stuff these days. PF70? I don't really care. 27_laughing.gif And I agree with your price assessment David. thumbsup2.gif (Now watch us both be wrong as hell! insane.gif)

I agree with you Mark 100%!!! I also saw one more of each in the same grades going off in auction #2020. I checked my mint set and can't really tell if they are candidates or not (again, I don't really care as I won't break them open) because of the imperfect casing the mint uses.

Just for anyones info, they both sold for $340. each!!!! insane.gif Less then a year from now, when the pop report shows over 50 in the lofty grade of MS70FS, I doubt the person(s) who got these will be very happy!! blush.gif
