A 2-8-4 Berkshire #1225 built for the Pere Marquette Railway - 1941! Very nice!

You sound very much like Sheldon Cooper of Big Bang fame.

Merry Christmas y'all!

Wooden Jefferson! What a terrible thing to call Roger! ( I absolutely HATE the Big Bang Theory!) To Bill-great train! I dig it! and to Roger-very cool that you knew the exact model!

Happy Holidays everyone, whichever one you celebrate! ( I'm a Winter Solstice guy myself)

Looks like a nice layout you have there a bill. Are you a closet railroader?

Merry Christmas

It's a bit more than just the closet. This is in the backroom.

Haha, to me, that is a compliment. I watch Big Bang Theory, and then I look at my friends.... yup, I live that show. I've been told that I have a lot in common with Sheldon.

Love the coin - Looks like a Hudson

The National Railway of Mexico bought ten Hudsons from the American Locomotive Company in 1937. They were designated Class NR-1 and assigned road numbers 2700 through 2709. These locomotives had 25 x 28 cylinders, 73" drvers, a boiler pressure of 200 psi, a tractive effort of 40,700 lbs and weighed 292,000 pounds.
