Silver medal of Maximillian 1563, Holy Roman Emperor, Austrian, Bohemia, Hungary. Ferdinand was the father. There was a relative who was also named Ferdinand who was born 1577 to the Duke of Bavaria. Probably a wedding medal for 1577 or birth medal commemorative. The ding at the top kills the value.

That's no wedding piece, there's a only a mention of two emperors.

Side one (one guy): FERD DG EL RO IM S AV GE HU BO R 1563

= Ferdinand, By the Grace of God, Elector & Roman Emperor Semper Augustus, King of Germany Hungary and Bohemia 1563.

In 1563 those were more or less the appropriate titles of Holy Roman Emperor Ferdiand I. The exceptions were Ferdinand yielded to his son Maximillain II as King of Bohemia in 1562 and King of Hungary in 1563. Ferdinand died in 1564.

Side two (two guys): MAXIMILLIAN DG RO HVN BO REX 1577

= Maximillian, By the Grace of God, King of the Romans, Hungary and Bohemia.

These were more or less the approprate titles for Maximillain (later emperor Maximillian II in 1564) in 1563 as King of the Romans was heir apparent for the Emperor. Maximillian died in 1576.

The dates and titles might be slightly off, but they encompass the reign on maximillain almost perfectly si it's probably a death commem of some sort.
