what is your experience with the new * star designated coins from ngc? have you seen any? do you like it?

for me i like it

it might be the most subjective item in the ngc service opinion

but i must admit most all

over95% of the star coins

are really exceptional/monster in their eye appeal from my own experiences and what other collectors and dealers have told me that i have confidence in!

sincerely michael

I think it's a great idea that's really needed to differentiate between coins within a certain grade. As we all know, not all MS65's are equal! As of yet, I don't have any in my collection but I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my recent submissions...You never know!!!! blush.gif Twowood

I don't think I've ever even seen a photo pf a star coin, let alone in person. I guess until I see one, it's up in the air. I like the concept of the star, but I worry that since everyone has different tastes, what may be a star to me may not be one to NGC and vice versa.

for me i guess overall the star will be for a really appealling coin exceptionally eye appealling wise overall from novice beginning collector to advanced collectors, specialist dealers and collectors

here are some more star designated coins for you to look JTRYKA at and the scans do not really do justice to the coins but you can get an idea ALSO STAR ONLY MEANS EYE APPEAL AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GRADE

i saw this peace dollar attatchment by barry and from the scan you can really tell this coin is super eye appealling in person
