Hello, I am getting this coin sent to me. I cant wait. The seller gave me permission to use his picture. I will try to take some when I get the coin in hand. What do you think?

Looks like a typically dug half cent with some general surface porosity.....I like it......Congrats!!!!

I'm at work and the monitor here shows everything as being very dark. However, the coin looks to have decent meat on it and appears to be the correct color, but there is fairly strong and obvious corrosion on the piece that is indicative of spending substantial time in a moist and or acidic environment such as a coin that was dropped on the ground and covered with soil (aka a dug coin).

 

This is just my opinion, but these pieces can be found without porosity on them.

Looks like a real good VG candidate coin you've got there! Lots of specific detail worn but plenty of general detail. Nice score!
