Counterfeit NGC MS64 $20 in slab on ebay

9 posts in this topic

If you follow the thread ATS some fools have bid this up to $100,000 on eBay. :o I don't know what the game is, but the discussion over there has gotten down to what your rights would be if you obligated yourself to this obvious, not very well done counterfeit.

The serial number does match with an NGC graded 1904 $20 gold in MS-64. The trouble is it's not the same piece or the same slab.

I don't think the people who have bid the coin up to six figures are "fools". They have insured that none of the bidders who are unaware that the coin is bad, end up with it.

If you look closely at the items, such as the Lincoln Pennies or the PCGS Slab he has for sale - it is all fake and people are buying his stuff. And IDK much if anything about Morgans but were any privately made?
