Submit a coin in "Rattler" plastic holder?

2 posts in this topic

I have a really nice Morgan dollar that's in an airtight type of hard plastic holder. (Square holder) I'm concerned, as the coin can bounce and slide a bit, loosely in the holder.

Would it be better for the coin, to take it out of the holder, and put it in a coin flip for mailing to NGC?

This is my first post, and it will be the first time submitting coins to NGC.

Thank you,

Bobby

Hi Bobby,

Welcome to the boards. The coin really does seem to have alot of space there to move around in the holder it is in, I would recommend you put it in a non-PVC flip and package it safely.

Thanks,
