The 1891 Club was a club of numismatists formed at the 100 year anneversary of the 1891 ANA convention in Chicago. It was a philanthropic club whose aims were to promote numismatic education and endeavors of historical significance (including museums, libraries, etc.).

What was The 1891 Club?

 

ANSWER:

This was a fundraising roup that ANA members could join for $18.91 to help pay for the ANA's centennial celebration in 1991.

 

Hoot (on his second try) was our only winner.
