understanding registry scoring

My revistry score for my top 100 morgan set dropped 2274 points today without me adding / removing / changing any coins. foreheadslap.gif Is that because a higher grade coin was "made" and entered in the pop report, pushing scores down? I don't know how the values are computed so I'm just guessing at how this works.
