New buys 25c and 5c

Since I'll not be attending any large coin shows for a while I had an itch to buy something Two nice scores (I hope), Paid $70 for the nickel and $50 for the quarter. How did I do?

Nice coins! I really like the nickel a lot.

Both are sweet coins with great lustre. The only thing that bothers me is the white area without toning on the quarter in the viewers left field.

 

The nickel has gorgeous colors!

The nickel is absolutely terrific! The quarter, however, has great luster and a really nice look; but I wonder if it's the lighting or if there is truly a hint of wear on the hairline?

Dave, it is FS. 5 steps are clear and defined. The sixth isn't but you only need 5 for FS with any TPG for FS.

Thanks for the clarification. I didnt see the blow up of the steps. In the larger pic it looks like weakness on the bottom step. Just shows I dont know diddly about Jeffs

Great looking pieces, the both! I'd stuff that quarter in my album any day and that nickel would go straight into my collection for the long-haul!
