What a surprise

awhile back I cut up afew Silver proof sets to have the Halves slabbed,not being a big fan of Roosevelt dimes I put them in flips and tossed them in a box.

so last week we had a heavy snow fall and I pulled out the box of misc.coins and to my surprise the 1959 proof Roosevelt was a DDO. Still no big fan, but it was a nice surprise.

Thats a great find. Every once in a while I do the same- not find anything special- but look through coins I havent seen in a while.

 

BTW-- You could send some of that snow my way. My snowmobiles are getting lonely sitting in storage by themselves. grin.gif

I found a 1964-D DDR looking through my old hoard years ago. It's the only slabbed Roosie I've got. tongue.gif
