Since the only KFC buffet I know about is too far of a drive I'll go with the Saint. Better for my waste line, too!

Has NGC graded any Saints in 65 with the STAR?

KFC shot themselves in the foot when years ago they changed their gravy recipe. It's never been the same since.

I'd go with the Saint.

Since I don't want to have a coronary....I'll take the Saint. grin.gif

Well, I don’t want either, but I would take the Saint, sell it, and buy something I am interested in, like an early commem or buffalo nickel. wink.gif

I'll take the Saint. I don't eat at KFC often and I don't like their food that much. Now, if it were a lifetime of free McDonalds, then I'd go for the food.

Now if you were talking about a lifetime supply of peanut butter, then I'd take it! laugh.gif Otherwise, it'll have to be the Saint! smile.gif

GREAT question, Michael!

I have diabetes and an ulcer, so fried food doesn't work very well for me, but you know what they say.:

Gold has the same purchasing power today as it did 2,000 years ago. So I wonder if I went back to Rome and tried to use my Saint to purchase a butchered chicken at the local market. The merchant would probably bite into it to test its authenticity and he would probably think its authentic and he would then look at it and the iconography would be familiar, He would see Liberty and the Eagle and think that it was probably from one of the provinces and readily accept it. I could probably get a few dozen chickens from him for that one Saint,

but since I would probably be an easy target, I would visit the local armory first to get some armor and a sword.

Either way, I would probably be screwed, since I would not be able to transport the chicken or be able to survive long enough to eat it.

So in the end, I have to say that we are very fortunate to have KFC. Interesting thread. Can I substitute Boston Market or Panera Bread for KFC? Or are we stuck with KFC, and could I maybe take some Sacagawea dollars with me back to Rome and try to spend them there as "Golden" dollars, NO, they would probably think I was a slave and try to sell me for passing counterfeit gold. lol

Nice thread.

Michael,

we have a KFC in our town. I found it open one night around 2 a.m. and we went inside to make sure it had not been B&E'd.

Let me say this.....after seeing what I saw in there that night, absolutely no way would I want food from there.
