Maybe he just didn't want to spend the extra 15c for the 2nd pic. Or maybe there is a great big X scratched on the obverse.

 

It does look like it may have been cleaned.

 

It is only $10 and he offers a return. The most you would be out is 80c if you had to return it.

He says it is in a Littleton bag. Their bags are frequently white on half the obverse. The coin would be obscured.

 

This coin looks better than VF, but is extremely common and can probably be found at a coin shop for $8 or less.

 

And if the coin came from Littleton, it is very likely dipped.
