Slightly OT - Holiday vacation

7 posts in this topic

I'm on vacation through Jan 3, but thought it might be an opportunity to post my boards-related new-year's resolution. Most likely, I won't be online for the next couple of weeks.

I resolve to #1, post more often, especially regarding educational threads, #2, provide a few interesting contests for board members. I've really enjoyed posting on the NGC board, honestly more than the PCGS forum, and thank everyone for their participation. The PCGS forum is great, but there seems to be too much extraneous stuff to filter through. I like the conciseness of the NGC board.

Happy Holidays to all!

James,

You have contributed a great deal of information to these boards over the past year. I am sure I am not the only one who can say they are more numismatically aware and enlightened by your posts. I look forward to sharing more information and experiences withyou and the other board members in the coming year.

Happy Holidays to all

Dave

James always has great information... When I was signing up.... I found the NGC forums to be more in line with my thinking... I was reading the PCGS forums and one of the first threads I read was... Selling my whole coin collection and starting over.... ummmm Why would you be collecting if you plan on selling it all and starting over... So I went here... and it seems to be a nice mix of collectors willing to help with good info

Here, here! I second that. These types of threads are the ones which I enjoy the most.

James, you are an excellent contributor to this forum. Thank you. thumbsup2.gif

I think that we can nick-name you: James "this coin ain't for sale" EarlyUS 893whatthe.gif 'cause you usually have that disclaimer on alot of your posts. I understand why you say it but I still find it amusing. yay.gifheadbang.gifyay.gif

Merry Christmas to all!!!

(Ok now, Arch, where's the Santa icon?)
