Request for new set and additions to existing sets.

I request that a new set be created for modern U.S. coins that are REVERSE PROOF only.

 

 

I also request that the Frosted Freedom varieties be added to all sets that now have the APE $25, $50 and $100 proofs.

 

PCGS includes these varieties in their competition. (one $25 specimen whereas NGC has all the values in discovery specimen holders). There is an inconsistency in the Modern Coin competitions if the ATB SPs include the Light Finish varieties while the Platinum Proofs ignore the Frosted Freedom varieties. The ATB competition has one clear top set because of the inclusion of the Light Finish varieties. The Platinum Proofs would have a similar result. Let's have a real competition and begin a dedicated search for Frosted Freedom coins that are still in the unchecked 2007 Proof sets.
