eBay auction for a "fake" electro 1916 quarter?!?

I was browsing on eBay and came across this auction that is allegedly for an electrotype 1916 quarter. Actually, I don't even think it's as good as an electrotype - it's a FAKE electrotype! 27_laughing.gif

 

I think it's just a clumsy cast counterfeit. I'd actually pay up to maybe $200 for a really nice '16 electrotype!

Well... guess what? I was taken by the same Seller! I purchased this one last week:

Fake 1943 "Copper" Cent

 

I thought it would be cool to own a "real" counterfeit of these. When I got the coin it looked good so I posted quick, positive feedback.

Well... you guessed it... later that day when I removed it from its holder and tested it with a magnet I found out if was a cheap plated steel cent. tonofbricks.gif
