High grade grading

So for example if the coin looks flawless but receives a 67 while another flawless one receives a 68. What are the things that could keep them from receiving a point higher? Is it like the strike and whether it's a strong or weak strike?

Thanks for a question. There are a number of issues that can affect coins at the highest grade levels. Strike can be a factor along with minuscule spots (particularly on modern or proof coins), contact (i.e. "bag marks") or handling marks, luster impairments, poor eye appeal (including unattractive toning), and other very minor imperfections.
