New NGC labels pulling off of the holder?

I have several newly graded NGC coins that the NGC logo on the back of the holder easily comming off. I just wondered if anyone else has had that problem?

Hi,

 

We did have a manufacturer problem with the first run of the new hologram labels where they came off and quickly had our supplier resolve the issue. If you will send the coins with the peeling holograms back in, we will reholder them free for you. Just drop a note in with the coins to note that this is due to the hologram issue.

I recently picked up some wins from TT. As most of you know, they put their bar code strip on the back and in the case of NGC/PCGS slabs, right on the holo. I pulled it off when I got it and off came most of NGC holo with it. It will be going in with my next submission.

Hi Michael,

 

We will definitely accept the peeled hologram holders at shows to reholder. Of course because of time factors, especially considering the volume of submissions each show might garner, I can't honestly say 100% of the time they will be returned the same day or at the show.

as usual with ngc you can always get a customer friendly answer 893applaud-thumb.gif and ngc will try their best to accomodate their customers!! cloud9.gif

 

and i will try to get some to the show and see if i luck out by the end of the show to have them reholdered as i know it is quite busy for you at shows especially so in this market

Teletrade is horrible with their large sticky stickers. They always place them over the hologram. I hate stickers on slabs.
Heat the sticker, gingerly, with a hair dryer for a few seconds and the Teletrade decal will peel off without incident.
