Medallion from Austria-Hungary 1895

3 posts in this topic

I have inhereted a gold medallion which was made in Wienna in the old Austria-Hungary empire in 1895. It is made of pure either 24 or 18 Karat Gold. The medallion has a diameter of approximately 4 cm. On the back it has a picture of the Austria-Hungarian emperor Franc Ios, while on the front there is a picture of like two eagles. The medallion is in perfect condition.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me approximately how much this medallion is worth? Thanks in advance.

Here are pictures of the medallion. Not the best quality, but anyway.
