Union of South Africa Coin

8 posts in this topic

I have a bronze coin with a head of a king & queen on it. It has Union of South Africa on one side with the words "Unitate Ex Vires" on a coat of arms.

On the other side are two heads with "VI-MAII-MCMX" on the LHS & MCMXXXV" on the RHS.

Can anyone shed any light as the the significance of this coin and any more information. I am happy to e-mail photo's to anyone who can help.

Thanks

HI

It's is identical to the one you are showing!

Is it a common coin?

Thanks

I don't know if it's a common medal, but it only cost me about $15. I'd like to find silver and gold versions, but I don't know if they were struck in those metals.
