Having a tough time connecting to the Registry

Perhaps it's my config -- but it's almost impossible for me to connect to the Registry and to the Forums as well -- except for late at night.

 

Any advice so I can reconnect with NGC? Or is the problem on your side of the connection?

I think they may still be working on the system. Nothing to get alarmed about that I am aware of.

If you're having a tough time with both the registry and the forums, it may be a routing problem between you and the servers. What that means is that somewhere there's a link the chain of equipment used to move data between our servers and your machine that is broken.

 

It's unlikely to be a server problem as the boards and the registry are completely separate machines.

 

Usually this kind of problem will self-correct as whatever organization has the malfunctioning equipment will track it down and fix it. If it doesn't correct itself, you can do some sleuth work to find the issue and alert the responsible party by doing a trace route. However, unless you have some background on how to do it, it's probably better to just alert your ISP and ask them to follow up.

i just tried one of the links. It seems you need to be logged in to see the list, so make sure you are logged in.
