deeply mirrored and toned proof seated half with the "look"

usually these 1860's proof halves have this overall look deep toning and specific colors if they are original and not dipped this coin is way above average as the mirrors are super watery deep so in person even with the deep colors the coin is still flashy and vibrant at any angle which is usually not seen with these pre 1870 proof seated halves

Wow, I'd like to see that one in hand.....looks like it sat in an album for years. Could even be out of an old coin cabinet I suppose???? Certainly one of the nicest one's I've seen, is it holdered???? Grade??? 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

thanks guys! shane it was in an envelope and then an album a long time

 

it is pcgs proof 65

 

for me the back is an easy proof 67 and the obverse is a really high end proof 65

 

if it was a touch lighter on the obverse it would grade out as proof 66

 

if the obverse looked like the reverse it would grade out as proof 67

 

but i guess you can say that with the lottery if you had all six you would win the multi million dollar jackpot 5 numbers you usually get nothing 893whatthe.gifgrin.gif
