eBay just "going through the motions"......

2 posts in this topic

To quote one of my dad's famous phrases when I was a kid......

They talk the talk about policing counterfeit coins on their site, like they're out to protect the collector. Well, that 3 inch banner that shows up on your 'sold' listing page showcases counterfeit coins. I clicked on a Liberty nickel I sold this morning and I see the "sponsored links" banner is full of trade dollars, cheap. I think, "what the heck is this". I click on one and it goes to a place called 'Professional Coin Galleries', selling these Chinese, overpriced, counterfeit coins......and they're advertising on eBay !

What a bunch of nonsense !

The joke is they sell ad space on many eBay pages, slows loading and frequently in searches does multiclick action so that a simple back page does not get you to your search.
