Well folks, I just bought, perhaps the best 1960-D out there!

Hi everyoneI thought that I would share this new addition to my collection because it's one of the most difficult coins to locate this nice in respect to it's strike, condition and steps! How much would you pay for this coin?

These are exceedingly difficult with full steps. A very nice coin indeed.

Both coins look great for the date/mm! I'm very impressed and very jealous!

 

By the way, now that you have a better one for your first set, how much for the second one? If I don't have to sell my soul or condo/car for it, I may be able to swing it.

Hi TDN and HootI should have noted that the second coin has a flat cheek. From midway on the cheek, that area begins to slope down as can be seen along the outline of the cheek in the pictures. It's almost even with that short section of the neck while the other coin's cheek is fully strucked! Which makes me a very happy guy! The coin in Nevadaman's collection that sold for $32,000 in Pittsburgh had a slightly flat cheek.

I could look at it all day too but then the wife and kids start talking so I have to put it away. This coin and others are up on ebay right now for the world to see!
