I just bought them and I'll pay for them Friday, should be home by Thanksgiving. They will go to NGC after Thanksgiving, I'm hoping for a Christmas present!!!!

the 3 cent piece is nice.. but my favorite is the New Rochelle Commem!!! WOWOW! That coin is jaw dropping... the other 3 are nice but those are my 2 favorites

It's interesting how we are all attracted to different things. The 1810 CBH just about knocked the snot out of me and the three cent piece gobbled it up!

All the coins look nice, but I'll have to go with the 1810 also. That coin has a great look to it and a lot of character in my opinion.

Whats up with the reverse on the 3 cent piece? I'm talking about streak across the III Nice coin BTW.

That's a "streak" of copper from the alloy used in making the planchet. Sometimes the copper in the alloy is exposed and you get these "streaks". Common on 3cnickels, buffalo nickels, Copper/nickel IHC's etc.

 

Someone else will most likely offer a more "professional" explanation.

Of the 5 you've posted, I like the New Rochelle the most because of the lustre. The San Diego appears a bit lifeless, but it could be the image or the lighting.

i like the three cent nick an original coin my fav

 

the new rochelle is a later die state but it has great eye appeal and is semi prooflike with an above average strike

the robinson is one of my fav coins as it is a one year type coin so you need it and this coin has really good eye appeal

Oh how beautiful... the 1810 half is so splendid. The 3 cent too. I dream of coins like those. Great find.
