I really can't think of a good title for this thread!!!

But I finally received a $215 refund from an ebay transaction that went bad 4 years ago! I won't bore all of you with all of the details that led me to almost give up hope on ever seeing my money again. Other than that I think there are now some good people running a organization that seemed to all but fall apart because of one man.

I feel that there is no need to post the organization's name and the people who operated that company back then. What happen back then is past and I'm glad that they are reorganized and led by people who finally responded, resolved and returned my money......no questions asked!

I could write a book on all the exchanged emails, the heartaches, the disappointments and victories, my patience and persistence in not giving up!

I could write about all that stuff but I won't.......because I don't feel it's necessary!

But I may have a change of heart if their check bounces!!! 893whatthe.gif

I did start writing a long post about what all happen during the 4 years but then I would remember something and would have to go back and add it and then rewrite something that didn't sound right, look up a synonym, make corrections, reread, what a headache! 27_laughing.gif

I will say, that I used no legal means to convince the other side, if that'd ever happened, to refund my money. I basically reminded them, over and over again, that I was due a refund!

The thing is with all the emails, most were on an old drive! This drive, I believe is still functioning in one of other 3 computers but over time and a couple of crashes, many were changed into files with different .xxx endings and a program was located to translate the files back into english and so on. At one time I assembled all the files that had to do with this transaction into one file under the sellers name.

Making public all the emails wouldn't be all that exciting due to the simplicty to most of them. The common evasive responses were, "It's in the mail', "ok, will mail out another check", etc. The only interesting email was when someone said the guy was on some sabatical trip in Europe!

But there most be some better people running the organization to return my refund after 4 years so why badmouth them. My hats off to them in every respect!
