Did NGC recently increase the price of submissions?

I thought I remember seeing that NGC was cheaper than PCGS on submissions. Were prices increased recently?

Yes. There was approx. an 8% increase across the Board on all services of submissions PLUS there will be a re-structuring of prices for the specific grade that your coin receives that will be based on the Fibonacci series. This restructuring is to be similar to the costs incurred on the Comic grading end, that is, the final value of the slabbed coin determining the grading fee.

I didn't! I just performed the ritual coin grading ceremony on the way in! I passed the coin 6 times under a donkey, threw the chicken bones BEFORE I fastened my muskrat stuffed Cinder block grading hat, THEN I smacked that jack@$$ right in the chops!! Not the donkey, the guy who owns the coin!!!!

NGC is cheaper for some.

 

They did not raise their prices for the services I use. I don't know about Walk-Thru and the Gold series. They did raise them for their comic books.
