Talk about an addiction.

First of all, congrats. To all the society members on their collections. Winning or not. After all, we all have to start somewhere, and without a collector pool. How could there be any great top sets. So, as I say, congrats. To all.

Here I am in Jan. I've been collecting Canada pl coins for quite a few years. In Dec. I completed a few sets. My prize sets are the 1953-67 pl dimes and quarters. As well as the 1950-67 pl dollars. Now, the costs to complete these sets has sure added up over the years. ( in retrospect ) yes, some upgrades are due, but boy did I feel a feeling of completion in Dec. even a feeling of, which way do I turn to now. Hey. I might even be able to walk away from my collection for a while. Well, those feelings lasted for about two weeks. All of a sudden. I see on current auctions, more coins for upgrades to my sets. Now, it starts all over again. Here I am. Bidding, waiting and watching. Daily. Talk about addicted!

You can complete a set, ignoring all that pertains to collecting and say no in your mind 1000 times.

The collector inside you will eventually win again. You will feel sooo goood after staying clear and finally giving in and winning ONE MORE COIN. (thumbs u

I am not a fan of absolutes, but I can say confidently that the word never describes all of us. We will NEVER finish collecting. As you finish one set, another catches your eye and it all starts over again. And I am fine with that.

Hi, my name is ( insert name here) and I have not bought a coin in 4 days. I try. I really do. I thought I was complete. It calls me. It whispers too me and I try to ignore it. Eventually i give in for she is a cruel mistress but I love her so. lol Completing a set is most satisfying. Making it the best is addictive I know but I continue the quest for the next one.
