Best way to display a type set?

10 posts in this topic

Just found the site although I've been collecting for awhile. I've nearly completed an 1887 type set, all 13 from copper & nikel to silver and gold and would like to display them in one fairly compact holder. Does anyone offer a service to make a custom holder that allows easy viewing of both sides of the coin? An option would be to have NGC or similar grade everything in the same size holder and slide them into a nice frame but I'd like a little more custom look.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

NGC has also started offering a multi-coin holder, however, I don't know what the limit is as to size. You may want to contact them on this one. Good luck.

yes capital plastics have been doing this for years and years designing custom holders

they have fantastic materials and do a great job

i would do a two part separate holder set with both holders small enough to put in a safe deposit box this makes sense to me and also i would rather have two smaller custom holders for this set then one bigger holder

good luck and hope you get something that you are happy with and that all this food for thought might help you make a better decision for yourself
