I think it's very nice! Unfortunately I am not good at grading peace dollars at all, even so I would say MS-63 at least on the obverse!

Good photos.

A few minor marks on Liberty's cheek,under eye and neck...bag marks? Field looks clean except for one rub. Reverse has a rub or two.

Great eye appeal. MS65. Twowood

 

PS...What would you grade it?

It looks like there are wispy abrasions in the fileds of each side, and at least one bag mark on Miss Liberty. Asuming this coin does not have any wear, I would estimate MS63 to MS64, although it is impossible to tell for sure from a picture.

it may have more luster, if this is a scan, most of the luster is lost in the image... Atleast that's what happens on my scanner....

It looks MS65 to me. For an S coin, it has an excellent strike, and it appears mark-free (hard to know for sure without 10X). That coin looks very familiar; I bet I know where you found it.... smile.gif
