Truthfully, I don't like the looks of the coin all that much, especially for a 68. Any marks on a 68 should be virtually undetectable, especially in a scan/photo. It's just my opinion, but it looks low-end for the grade. Now, perhaps in person that's not true. But I'd want to be in-person with such a coin to buy it. And where's the return policy? A buyer should have a long discussion of terms with the Albanese's before pulling that trigger.

Hmmm - Albion, NY is just down the road from me. I've never visited their shop as all I've seen them advertise is really, really high-end stuff. Maybe its time to go see my neighbor in Western NY.

I'm guessing that those marks you're seeing are actually JPEG compression artifacts, not actual marks on the coin.

 

Still, I wouldn't dump that kind of dough without checking it out in person.
