Early this week I picked up a bargain in Dove soap but after a day or two we couldn't find it, all 18 bars! So after a couple of more days of searching, having gave up, back to KMart we go and they cheerfully gave us 18 more bars! Upon arriving back home, just when I came through the door, my son was waiting there with the original 18 bars!

 

Deodorant? What? And destroys that jock smell that drives the wife crazy!

Present and accounted for! Had a heart artery blockage and had a stent put in (2) weeks ago. That kept me occupied for a couple days. Am ok now, though.

Oh hell, that's passe'! I leave snake eatin' to the squeamish in the field crew. During the day, we eat Gila monsters raw.

I made it back after 4 days in Virginia visiting my sis. All's well and she'll be returning the visit Christmas. Kinda forgot what it's like to breathe air made with vegetation instead of desert dust! Yuk! Just think---I had to go all the way over there just to get my first Keelboat nickel in change!

Pieces of re-thread tires from the highway. No two are exactly alike, and studying the pattern of thread wear on each piece is truly fascinating. I have even come up with my own method of grading them on a scale of 1 - 70 that is based on the amount of wear they sustained before failure. Fascinating I tell you, truly fascinating!

 

Now if I can just get NGC to slab them.

Is the model year of the tire inversely proportional to the grade?

Just like retreads, cow patties come in all different shapes, sizes, and aromas. It can be quite a challenge to find one that has a thick crusty patina, yet retain that fresh, minted odor.

 

You should also wear white cotton gloves when handling cow patties. You dont want to get body oils on them.
