For the Hoot-meister and other nickel "nuts"

Here is a quick sampling of some of my raw Jeffersons. I bought this set in a Capital plastic holder at the Denver ANA in 1996 from Scotsmans Coins. Pretty cheap too. devil.gif

And, yes, some of them have the "neon" look...uh..oh. 893whatthe.gif

I had to light some of the pics up because the lamp wouldn't cover all the coins at once. I was in a bit of a rush today....plus...I ran out of spray paint. mad.gif

I HATE that!

Great coins! Looks like they all have sectacular surfaces, in terms of being mark-free and well struck.

I especially like the '40 and the '46. Loverly! cloud9.gif

I think I'll pick up some nickel nuts at the store tonight. popcorn.gif

There are still a good number I haven't photographed yet! 893whatthe.gif

I have to figure a good way to photo raw coins. You can't manipulated a raw coin like you can a slab in terms of tilting it to get the right lighting. Plus I'm afraid to touch or hit the coin....this is of course AFTER I spray it...lol

I've seen that tuesdaynightcoins on eBay made a little stand for his coins. It's pretty neat. With such a stand, you could do all kinds of positional manipulation. (Something that TomB is in desperate need of. devil.gif)
