Coin Grade

what was it??

1901s?

No I mixed everything up. It is a NGC FA2, but when I went back to look at it again, this is embarrassing, it's a Liberty Seated Half! Anyway, I don't see anything in the POP in FA 2 for Liberty Seated Halves either.

If FA2 = FAIR2, then is it safe to say that is lower than Pr, POOR? I guess with the number 2 it would have to be.

No, a FA2 is higher than a PO1 coin.

Yes, but NOT better. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Great! Thanks, I'm glad I asked. So PO-1 is lower in grade than a FA-2, which makes it more desirable if you're shooting for the bottom grade. Well, I won the 1877S 50 cent NGC FA2 on Teletrade, auction nr. 1936. It was $27 plus the rest came to $36. If this had been a PO1, would I have paid more assuming I didn't pay too much for this one? So, I guess I bought the MS69DCAM instead of the MS70DCAM but in reverse.
