When did PCI go back to the "Green Labels"? I just bought a PCI graded MS65 1878-S Morgan Dollar in a new "Green Label" holder???? The coin does look like it is a no question '65, as well.

Look to see how long the slash mark is between the date and the mint mark on the insert. That's the easiest way to quickly tell if it's the "good" PCI or the "bad" PCI. If it's a longer slash, good. If it is a short slash, well, not so good (probably).

 

(Other 'tells' include the digit, "6" and the amount of numbers on the reverse set of numbers on the insert...).

 

The dollar sign is also a tell between new and old.
