Don't know if it's new, but it's sort of interesting since it extends the "crack" in the Liberty bell from the strike to the rim!

Don't know if it extends that far. I'll know more when the coin comes in. The seller told me a money back guarantee if it is not a die crack.So, I thought it was worth the chance.

It certaily appears to be a die crack but because this error is a random matter and cannot be catagorized I wouldn't go so far to be able to classify it as "new", or even classify it at all, if ya know what I mean.

I know what you mean Jason but from what I have learned about these error/varieties is that there is a wide opinion as to what they really are. Anyways, such errors/varieties on proof coinage should never happen. What is your opinion as to what they are?
