in person sight seen this coin is lighter in color and with really great booming lustre yay.gif which enhances the toning

the coin is above average in strike yay.gif with regards to this poorly struck series

Michael - What an incredibly sweet coin! Pastel hues that are clearly part of the coin, and not just lying on the surface. Exqusite details with crisp edge lettering and sharpness in every complex line in the devices of this complicated coin! 893applaud-thumb.gif Just look at the detail of the angel's face and the ripples in her clothing! Fabulous detail in the entry to the Alamo, as well. And the coin is flawless - no marks or tics and the white portions are satiny, not brilliant! angel.gif A coin to live for!

I love Texas commems, as they are one of the most beautiful designs and they can tone sooooooo nicely.

hi there hoot you are really astute thumbsup2.gif not really any contact marks and killer lustre on the coin in person sight seen and with an extremely thick skin

the coin technically markswise and lustre wise and eye appeal wise easily an ms67+

but only in an ngc ms66 holder screwy.gif

so here is an ngc coin that is undergraded 893whatthe.gif

maybe the reverse toning and/or flat breasts keep this ms66? BUT THE coin is still above average in terms of strike

"but anyway it still is an ultra high end ms66 and i could see this in an ms 67 holder one day" yay.gif NOW WHERE HAVE I HEARD THIS STATEMENT BEFORE 27_laughing.gif27_laughing.gif27_laughing.gif
