update on my pondering of selling my key dates.....One appears to be sold

I had this consigned to Wayne.

 

Funny thing is, I shopped this coin around at Pittsburgh and if I recall the BEST offer I had was 5500 or 6000 and virtually everyone wanted to knock it for the non full date even though it has a killer planchet! I never dreamed it would see 9K!

 

I think I may definitely unload some of my goodies here and there for a while.

Goose, the market for key dates is indeed very hot. I sold a key date at Pittsburgh at a price equal to the highest auction price for that coin in 2 years. I now see it on the buyers website listed 50% higher.
