Here's another coin that has something in common with the other two but there is one thing that makes this coin a little different. Can you tell what it is?

Moving right along, one of the things the three coins have in common is that they all lack detail! They all have weak strikes! The one thing that makes the 56-D different from the other two is that it has full steps! Now let me ask you this, because this coin has full steps, does this make it a rare, expensive coin, desireable coin to collect? What a second, that's not right! Hold on folks while I make some adjustments here!

There we go, what a perfect landing! 27_laughing.gif What we have here now is that same 1953-S pictured above and added some steps to it! Actually I robbed them from the 56-D! cool.gif So let me ask you again, because this coin has full steps, especially since it's a 1953-S, does this make it a rare, expensive and desireable coin to collect? headbang.gif

Getting back to the main reason why I started all this, there is a big difference between the first two coins in the first post of this thread! Can anyone tell me what it is?Until then,Leo

OK! The first pic is a VG graded coin while the other is an uncirculated coin strucked with very weak dies! neither one has any detail to speak of. How easy is it to see that the VG coin looks better then the unc coin. But if you add a case of steps to the unc 53-S suddenly it's worth thousands! That's pretty stupid if you ask me! screwy.gif But I realize that you all may already know this. Oh well......so much for collecting quality coins! frown.gifLeoLeo
